In fact, military students receive 28 credits on average toward their degree for real-life, military training and experience as well as for Military Occupational Safety (MOS) courses. DU Military Promise
Davenport's offering a new fast-track acceptance process for military members, who have completed at least one year of service as Active Duty or as a National Guard/Reservist, an easier route into college (undergraduate programs only). Applicants must have received an Honorable or General Discharge and be able to provide a DD214 or military transcript.
Recognized for veterans’ training
Davenport is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission – North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is recognized for veterans’ training under the G.I Bill® for Veterans Educational Assistance. Our individual colleges hold additional accreditations.

Designed to help adult students maximize existing transfer credits, a bachelor’s in integrated studies may be completed in as little as one year.
